My education
I graduated in Philosophy and Communication at the University of Eastern Piedmont “Amedeo Avogadro” with a final dissertation in History of Contemporary Art, creating a critical dialogue between Alighiero Boetti and some contemporary British artists such as Jonathan Monk, The Boyle Family and Ryan Gander.
How did I get to art? Thanks to a university film project at the Museo del Tesoro del Duomo in Vercelli, where I had the opportunity to live a curating experience that convinced me to pursue the path of contemporary art.
Having reached the specialist studies, I’ve followed my natural inclination for Media Communication, so I choose a MA in Business Communication at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, selecting the Media Management and Cultural Events Management curriculum.
My thesis in Media Studies entitled: “Corporate Art Collections: Art for Business Enhancement. Italian Law Studies” earned me the honour and the publication of a scientific paper on my research on Italian Law Firms and their involvement with the art sector.
I decided to deepen some aspects of the art world with an Advance Training course in Art Market of the Istituto Toniolo, a Professional Master’s Programme at the 24ORE Business School in Exhibitions Management: Planning and Management of an Art Exhibition and the Advanced Course in Art Due Diligence Management, The Hecker Standard at the Università di Pavia.
My experience
Since my studies began, I’ve always wanted to make transversal experiences between my different interests.
I had the opportunity to grow in the art world thanks to the collaboration as an assistant to the curator Gabi Scardi and as an assistant for Dep Art Gallery, also dedicating myself to my love for writing, collaborating with blogs like Contemporary Art Curator and working in the press office of different events such as Frieze Master 2017.
I’m deeply in love with the music and radio world, collaborating with college radios as POLI.RADIO, where I became Editor-in-Chief; this experience allowed me to combine creative studies with a strong interest in interviewing.
I later became collaborating author and interviewer for the Italie Invisibili tv broadcast on Sky Arte.
Not just art, however, I discovered a new sector that was able to get me passionate and teach me a lot: sport!
I held the Brand and Communication Manager position for the Novara Calcio 1908 soccer club, and I’m working as Marketing Manager for the ASD Polisportiva San Giacomo in my city, Novara, Italy.
Thanks to this articulated path, made of different fields and various skills, I decided to become a freelancer and offer the world of the cultural and creative industry my experience in Press Office, Web Communication, Event Management and Content Creation.
